6.1.1. Displacement, weights

Warning

The boat should never carry more than the manufacturer‘s recommended load. Load the
boat carefully, and evenly distributed. The load should be suitably distributed, as low as

possible, to ensure that the boat floats on its design trim. Bear in mind that stability is
most significantly reduced by any weight added high up in the boat.

The following weights have been identified to form the basis of the stability calculations performed according to the

relevant EN-ISO standards.
