5.2.3 Pin 1
Pin 1 of the RJ-45 connector can have 3 functions, available in the RS-485 and RS-232
configurations.
• No connection (default)
When JP6 is not placed, pin1 is not connected.
• 5Vdc outgoing
To have 5Vdc (maximum 100mA) onto pin 1.
• Input (reset) function
Pin 1 is connected to a DI (digital input via an
optocoupler). An input voltage of 5 to 25Vdc is
needed to activate the DI.
Depending on the firmware this can for example
reset the InduBox GSM M4.
