reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or lack of

knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or

have received instructions on how to use the device.

•  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•  Never leave the fan unattended, as it presents a safety hazard for children. Always

store it out of the reach of children. Ensure that the cable does not hang down.

•  Before connecting the fan to the mains, make sure that your local A/C mains

voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate.

•  Never touch the product with wet or damp hands.
•

Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or put objects filled with liquid right

next to the device. If liquid or an object does enter the interior of the device, power

down the respective socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker), and then pull the mains

plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take the product to a specialist

repair centre.

•  Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into

a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the

product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply and

putting it to use. This may take several hours.

•  Never submerge the cable, plug or fan in water or other liquids, as this may result

in an electric shock.

•  Do not use the fan near an open window, as this may result in a short circuit if the

fan comes into contact with rainwater.

•  Ensure that objects (such as textiles) cannot become trapped in the rotor blade.
•  Never leave the product unattended during use.
•  Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after use and before cleaning.
•  Never cover the product during use.
•

Risk of injury! Do not insert objects or fingers into the protective grille when the

fan is on.

•  Disconnect the fan from the mains before moving it.
•  The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
•  Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it

from the mains socket using the intended grips.

•  Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges

or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable

from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable, otherwise the mains

cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a fatal electric shock.

•  Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective
