•  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
•  To protect children from the hazards of electrical devices, never leave the device 

unattended. For this reason, choose a storage place out of the reach of children. 

Make sure the cable does not dangle down.

•  Never touch the product with wet or moist hands.
•  The device was constructed according to protection class II. Only a proper mains 

socket (230 V/AC, 50 Hz) of the public supply net must be used as voltage source.

• 

Never  pour  any  liquids  over  electrical  devices  or  put  objects  filled  with  liquid 

right next to the device. If liquid or an object enters the interior of the device 

nevertheless,  first  power  down  the  respective  socket  (e.g.  switch  off  circuit 

breaker) and then pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Do not operate the 

product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.

•  Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room 

into a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow 

the device to reach room temperature before connecting and using it. This may 

take several hours.

•  To protect against electric shock, never immerse the cable, the plug or the device 

itself in water or other liquids.

•  Do not operate the fan near open windows in order to prevent short-circuits 

caused by dripping water or rain.

•  Make sure that no objects such as textiles can get caught in the product.
•  Never leave the product unattended when in use.
•  Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket after each use and before cleaning.
•  Never cover the product when in use.

Risk of injury! Do not insert any objects or fingers through the protective grid while 

the product is in operation.

•  Disconnect the fan from the power supply before moving it.
•  The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
•  Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it 

from the mains socket using the intended grips.

•  For safety reasons, always unplug the device in case of a thunderstorm.
•  Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges 

or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains 

cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the 

mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly 

electric shock.

•  Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective 

mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the 

mains plug from the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is 

damaged.

•  To prevent risks, damaged power cables may only be replaced by the manufacturer, 

a professional workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified 

person.

•  Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•  The device may be used for household purposes only and for its intended purpose.
•  Place the device on an even, stable surface. Maintain a safety clearance of at 

least 10 cm on all sides of the product.

•  The device is not suitable for installation.
•  Never move the device by tugging the cable and make sure the cable does not 

become entangled.

•  Never wrap the cable around the device and do not bend the cable.
•  Never use the device in the direct vicinity of a heat source.
•  Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the 

device.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an 

expert or at a qualified shop.

•  If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,

Intended use

The product is designed as a fan with oscillating action for indoor use. The fan speed can be 

adjusted to three different settings. Oscillation as well as fan speed can be set using the speed 

switch.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in 

bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use 

the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. 

In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. 

Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only 

together with its operating instructions.

 - has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

•  Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height 

can damage the product.

•  Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply 

voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on 

the appliance rating label.

•  This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with 

reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or lack of 

knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or 

have received instructions on how to use the device.
