•
Never place the unit on a flammable surface (e.g. carpet, etc.).
•
Do not place the unit near an open flame, electric oven, cookers or any other source
of heat, nor in direct sunlight. High temperatures can damage the unit’s surface as
well as reduce its effectiveness and increase energy use.
•
To avoid damaging the compressor, do not tilt the deep freezer to an angle over 45°
during setup and transport. Be careful when handling the condenser and doors, as
damage to them will negatively impact the unit’s functioning.
•
Place the unit in a dry, well-ventilated space.
CAUTION!
The deep freezer must not be located or used in unheated spaces or on balconies!
•
Do not locate the deep freezer in places with high humidity, as such conditions can
damage the unit and negatively impact its cooling capacity.
•
The ventilation ducts at the top of the unit must not
be blocked or covered, and free air circulation must
be ensured.
•
Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm between the top
of the unit and objects located above it (e.g. cupboards).
Otherwise, the unit may use more energy or the
compressor may overheat (dia. 3).
•
If the unit is to be located in a corner, leave at least 1 cm
space around the side walls of the unit and ensure that
the door can be opened wide enough to remove the
drawers.
•
Do not place the unit against a wall.
•
For the unit’s door to close on its own, the deep freezer
should be tilted back by regulating the front legs to a
uniform height. To regulate the deep freezer’s height,
tilt it gently backward so that the front legs are off the
floor.
•
Do not drill any holes nor mount any objects on the inside or outside of the deep freezer.
•
The electrical outlet should be secured to a minimum of 16A. Only connect the unit
directly to a wall socket; do not use extension cords or power strips.
•
Locate the unit so that the socket is easily accessible in case it is necessary to
quickly disconnect it from its power source.
