Knife sharpness
1. If the surface of sliced product becomes frayed
or coarse and the cutting operations become
cumbersome, the knife is to be sharpened.
2. Clean the knife edge before sharpening.
3. Loosen the fixing screw (a) of the sharpener (1)
on the other side of the device.
4. Remove the sharpener (1) and turn it by 180º.
Put the sharpener into the special rail and
tighten the fixing screw (a) again.
5. Make sure that the surface of the sharpener is
close to the edge of the knife. Correct the
positioning if otherwise.
6. Plug the device into the socket.
7. Turn the device on and push (b) button at the
other side of the sharpener (1). Leave the
device on for 1-2 minutes. Next, stop the device
and check whether the knife is sharpened
enough. Continue until desired grind is reached.
WARNING! Possible cuts danger!
The knife is very sharp. When checking the grind one must be very cautious.
Always use protective gloves!
8. During the sharpening push simultaneously for 3-4 seconds
the (c) button at the front and (b) button at the backside.
This will allow the egdes of the knife to be grind.
ATTENTION!
Do not exceed the above mentioned sharpening
time of 3-4 seconds so as not to cause the so
called „zero grind”.
9. Put the sharpener back to its initial position.
