Chapter VI: Maintenance & Service
WARNING: Service should only be performed by qualified service
personnel. Before performing any of the following procedures,
disconnect unit from its electrical source. If electrical power is
required, exercise extreme care as “LINE VOLTAGE” is present.
WARNING: Be sure to obtain all necessary permits and perform
any required gas testing before opening the instrument’s
enclosures.
WARNING: To prevent injury, the Analyzer must be shut off from
the process. Personnel must avoid contact with hot equipment or
sample.
Recommended Routine Maintenance Schedule
Check instrument air pressure
Weekly
Check sample pressure
Weekly
Check solvent levels
Weekly
Inspect for internal sample leaks
Monthly
Filling Solvent Tank Assemblies
In order to fill the solvent tank assemblies:
1. Turn the analyzer offline.
2. Navigate to the service screen.
3. Turn off the tank air pressure. This is done via the valve after the upper regulator between the
upper enclosure and the customer connection box (see below).
