Purpose of use
The Lumen X7 Industry Tablets are handheld electrical devices. They serve the purpose
of entry, processing and (radio) transmission of data within potentially explosive
atmospheres.
The Lumen X7 Industry Tablet is used exclusively in combination with devices which
comply with the requirements placed on the overvoltage category I.
The Lumen X7 Industry Tablets, Type B7-A231-2…./…….. have been modified for use in
the following potentially explosive atmospheres:

UL Class I Division 2
The Lumen X7 Industry Tablets, Type B7-A231-2…./…….. may not be used in the
following zones:
−
ATEX / IECEx Zone 0, 1, 2, 22 and 21
−
Class II Division 2
−
Class I, II Division 1
−
Class III
The Lumen X7 Industry Tablets, Type B7-A234-2…./…….. have been modified for use
in the following potentially explosive atmospheres:

ATEX / IECEx Zone 2 und Zone 22
−
UL Class I Division 2
The Lumen X7 Industry Tablets, Type B7-A234-2…./…….. may not be used in the
following zones:

ATEX / IECEx Zone 0, 1 and 21

Class II Division 2
