BARRETT 4050 HF SDR TRANSCEIVER - OPERATING AND INSTALLATION MANUAL

Noise Blanker

This setting allows the predictive noise blanker to be switched on or off. The

noise blanker is useful to reduce the interference caused within vehicles with

petrol engines.

Note: The noise blanker will not be effective in situations where for example, exter-

nal power line noise is blanketing the receiver.

Note: In certain situations noise blank-

ers can cause intermodulation in re-

ceivers. In these cases the noise blanker

should be disabled.

The noise blanker can also be con-

This section sets the RF power output of the Transceiver.
