The Quick Nav Bar
The Quick Nav Bar is a row of five icons that appears at the bottom of the NOOK touchscreen and enables you to
navigate from one feature to another.
If your NOOK is turned on and active, you can make the Quick Nav Bar appear by pressing the Quick Nav button
below the touchscreen. After you tap on one of its buttons, the Quick Nav Bar disappears.
The Quick Nav Bar looks like this:

If you don’t see the Quick Nav Bar, tap the Quick Nav button, and the Quick Nav Bar will appear.
The Quick Nav Bar shows five navigation buttons:
• Home
- a screen showing the books and periodicals you have most recently read or purchased
• Library
- your personal library of books, magazines, and newspapers
• Shop
- the NOOK Store on your NOOK, where you shop for books, magazines, and newspapers
• Search
- a search engine for finding books and periodicals in your Library and in the Shop
• Settings
- configuration settings
