When a compatible B&N Fast & Free Wireless network is detected, but the signal strength is
too low to permit a connection to the network, no B&N Fast & Free Wireless signal strength
indicator is displayed.

•

When a B&N Fast & Free Wireless network connection has been established: the B&N Fast &
Free Wireless signal indicator shows a signal strength that ranges from one to four bars.

Wi-Fi Signal Strength Indicator

Note the following about the Wi-Fi signal strength indicator:

When Airplane mode is on: no Wi-Fi signal strength indicator is displayed, but the Airplane mode
indicator is displayed.

When Airplane mode is off:

When Wi-Fi is off: no Wi-Fi signal strength indicator is displayed.

When Wi-Fi is on but your

NOOK

is not connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot: no Wi-Fi signal strength

indicator is displayed.
