2.5.3 Chimney connection
The flue pipe/liner (Ø100 mm: ATLANTA / SAVANNAH or Ø150 mm: ECO 550 /
ECO 650 / ECO 750) can now be connected to the appliance. Make sure that the
connection is completely gas tight.
2.5.4 Gas connection
When connecting the gaspipe, ensure it is not kinked or deformed, and that the
gastap remains unobstructed.
Also during connection of the gas, take care not to twist the gas regulating block.
Make sure that the gas regulating block and supply pipes are not sujected to
stresses.
2.5.5 Checking the Gas Connection
After connection of the gas supply, check that all connections are completely gas
tight using soapy water or a leak tester.
2.5.6 Positioning the Ceramic Log Set
IMPORTANT :
•
Do not place any vermiculite or logs against the pilot
flame burner. Make sure that the pilot flame can burn
freely over the main burner. Only in this way is proper
ignition of the main burner ensured.

The burner bed (with vermiculite granules) and the
positioning of the logs must not be changed.
Remove the front and glass plate (ECO 650 / ECO 750) or, open the glass plate
(ATLANTA / SAVANNAH / ECO 550). Distribute the vermiculite granules over
the burner and position the ceramic log set as shown in figure 5 (Natural gas
appliance) or figure 6 (Propane appliance)
(see also Chapter 5: Disassembly/assembly of the regulator and burner)
1. Distribute the vermiculite granules evenly over the burner.
2. Place the rear log (in the holder) behind the burner.
3. Position the remaining logs.
