With the Video Programming via
Teletext (VPT) function in the video
tape recorder, you can use Teletext
TV listings when you preset Avant for
recording of future programmes. You
can also preset a Timer recording
manually.
If PDC/VPS (Program Delivery Control/
Video Programming System) signals
are broadcast by the current channel,
you can make sure that the
programme is recorded in full*, even
if the broadcast time is changed by
the broadcaster.
You can preset as many as eight
future recordings. You can also check
the status of all your pending
recordings by bringing up a list on
the screen.
You can, of course, start recording
the current programme immediately.
The video tape recorder will continue
recording until the tape runs out,
unless you give other instructions.
