Using the Beo4
Although designed primarily for close-
up operation, the BeoCenter 2300
can also be operated from a distance.
The Beo4 remote control operates
all the primary functions in your
BeoCenter 2300.
With Beo4, you can switch on or off,
select radio programs or CD tracks. It is
also possible to switch on the special
random and repeated playback
functions in the CD player, as well as
adjust sound.
Pleace note:
If you connect extra equiment to your BeoCenter
2300, you can switch them on and off via Beo4. To
do so, you must add the relevant cues to Beo4’s
list of functions:
• Add
PHONO
, if you connect a Bang & Olufsen
record player. To switch it on, find
PHONO
in the
Beo4 display, then pres GO.
• Add
A.AUX
to be able to switch on any other
source connected to the BeoCenter 2300 AUX-
socket. To switch the source on, find
A.AUX
in
the Beo4 display, then press GO.

chapter ‘Customising your Beo4’ for information
about adding functions to the Beo4.
