The air between the air discharge vents can become very
hot and may result in burns to the skin.
• Wear gloves.

1. Insert the heat concentrator nozzle (Fig. 28) with the guide tracks (Fig. 28/2)
between the air outlet hoods (Fig. 26) (Chapter 4.6 ‘Heat concentrator nozz-
le’ on page 14).
2. Switch on the device (Chapter 7.2 ‘Switching on the instrument’ on page 20).
3. Adjust the temperature (Chapter 7.3 ‘Adjust the temperature’ on page 21).
4. Adjust the time (Chapter 7.4 ‘Adjust the time’ on page 21).
5. Touch the [start/stop button] (‘Start and stop button’ on page 13).
6. Hold plastic parts of optical frames in the air stream between 28/1).
Once the heating time is fi nished, a cooling
phase of ‘6 s’ automatically switches on. This
switches the heating system off and only cold
air is generated.
The heat concentrator nozzle (Fig. 28) is not
intended for continuous operation and must be
removed after use.
