 Transporting, packaging and storage

5.1   Transport inspection

On receipt, immediately inspect the delivery for completeness and transport

 damage.

Proceed as follows in the event of externally apparent transport damage:

•

Do not accept the delivery, or only accept it subject to reservation.

•

Note the extent of the damage on the transport documentation or the

shipper‘s delivery note.

•

Initiate complaint procedures.

Issue a complaint in respect of each defect immediately

following detection. Damage compensation claims can

only be asserted within the applicable complaint dead-

lines.

5.2   Packaging

The individual packages have been packed in a carton in accordance with the

expected transport conditions. Environmentally friendly materials are used as

much as possible for the packaging.

The carton should protect the individual components from transport damage,

corrosion and other damage prior to assembly. Therefore, do not destroy the

carton and unpack the items shortly before assembly.

Dispose of packaging material in accordance with the relevant applicable legal

requirements and local regulations.

NOTICE!

NOTICE!

Danger to the environment due to incorrect disposal!

Packaging materials are valuable raw materials and in

many cases can continue to be used or can be properly

processed and recycled. Incorrect disposal of packaging

materials may pose risks to the environment.

•

Dispose of packaging materials in accordance with the

environmental regulations.

•

Observe locally applicable waste disposal regulations.

If necessary, outsource the disposal to a specialist

company.
