Polishing motor 2967 00
4.3 Direction of rotation switch
1. Switch position L rotation
2. Switch position middle
3. Switch position R rotation
The [direction of rotation switch] is used
to set the direction of rotation of the motor
shaft. The following switch positions are
possible:
•
Switch in L rotation position, the motor
shaft rotates anticlockwise (Fig. 4/1).
•
Switch in middle position, the motor
shaft is at rest (Fig. 4/2).
•
Switch in R rotation position, the motor
shaft rotates clockwise (Fig. 4/3).
4.4 Rotational speed regulator
1. Indicator
2. Rotational speed regulator
3. 100% position
4. 0% position
5. Lock
The [rotational speed regulator] (Fig. 5/2)
is used for continuous adjustment of the
rotational speed of the motor shaft. With
the help of the indicator (Fig. 5/1) the
current percentage rotational power (0%
= at rest, 100% = 6000 rpm) can be read
from the percentage scale. The [lock] (Fig.
5/5) allows the [rotational speed regulator]
to be fixed in a position and thus protects
against unintentional changes to the rotati-
onal speed during polishing.
4.5 Polishing tips
1. Clamping screw
2. Mounting sleeve
3. Mounting thread for polishing body
Two polishing tips (Fig. 6/Fig. 7) are included in the delivery. The polishing tips
each have a thread on which the polishing body is screwed on. The polishing
tips each have different mounting sleeves (Fig. 6/2; Fig. 7/3). The mounting
sleeve for polishing tips for the right side of the motor shaft also has a mounting
slot (Fig. 7/1) to prevent mix-ups or attachment to the wrong side of the motor
shaft. The clamping screw (Fig. 6/1; Fig. 7/2) is used to fix the polishing tip.
