Via this three-output terminal connector the controller
reports if the
BANDIT
has switched into Alarm- and/or
Panic mode.

Properties of the
Alarm output
[Alarm].
- Orange Alarm LED lights as long as the relay is
activated (
COM
and
NO
closed, and
COM
and
NC
open).
- The frontLED of the
BANDIT
fog generator will flash orange
as long as the unit is switched into panic or alarm mode.

In case of alarm mode:
-
COM
and
NO
are closed (relay activated) from the start of the
alarm-mode for 3 minutes (reset timer).
If the alarm mode is interrupted (Monitoring mode is switched
OFF
)
the relay contact will
also switch back to rest (
COM
and
NO
open,
and
COM
and
NC
closed).
- The orange alarm mode LED is illuminated .

In case of panic mode:
-
COM
and
NO
are closed (relay activated) for the full duration the panic
mode is activated (no timer).
- The orange panic mode LED is illuminated .
A typical application for this useful alarm output [Alarm] is to connect this to
an auto dialler (to report the alarm state), or to directly operate an external
siren on/off (Max. 1
