OPERATING DESCRIPTION
The burner operates fully automatically, therefore it is not necessary
to carry out any kind of adjustment during its operating.
The “lock-out” position is a safety position that the burner automati
-
cally assumes when a burner or system component is not working
properly.
Make sure that there are no faults in the heating plant before re-acti
-
vating the burner by 'resetting it'.
This turns on the fan motor for pre-ventilating the combustion cham
-
ber.
Subsequently, ignition activates and, after three seconds, the safety
valve and the operating (main) valve will open.
The presence of the flame, detected by its control device, permits
continuing and completing ignition.
If there is no flame, the equipment locks-out in safety condition within
3 seconds from gas valve opening (operation and safety).
In “safety lock-out” mode the valves are closed again immediately.
The causes of the lock-out may be temporary (for example when the
-
re is air inside the pipes). Therefore, when it is reset, the burner starts
operating properly.
When the "lock-outs" are repeated (3-4 times in a row) do not insist,
but seek the cause of the problem and solve it or request assistance
from the Service technician.
The burner can remain in the lock-out position indefinitely.
In emergency cases it is advisable to close the fuel valve and discon
-
nect power supply.
