MAINTENANCE
Analyse combustion gases and check that the emission values
are correct at least once a year, in compliance with current law.
• Clean air dampers, the air pressure switch with pressure port
and the relevant pipe, if any.
• Check the electrode condition. Replace them, if necessary.
•
Have the burner and the chimney cleaned by specialised
personnel (stove repairer); a clean burner is more efficient, lasts
longer and is quieter.
•
Check that the fuel filter is clean. Replace it, if necessary.
•
Check that all components of the combustion head are in good
condition, have not been deformed and are free from deposits
deriving from the installation environment and/or from poor
combustion.
•
In order to clean the combustion head, its outlet components
must be disassembled. Be careful during the reassembly
operations to exactly centre the gas diffuser with respect to the
electrodes, making sure that they are not earthed, which would
result in the locking of the burner. Verify also that the ignition
electrode spark takes place exclusively between itself and the
drilled disk (see combustion head and electrode disk distance
regulation diagram) for the version without pilot.
If the combustion head needs to be cleaned, remove the
components following the procedure indicated below:
• Remove the holding nut and unhook the gas throttle control
lever (26).
•
Undo the four screws (6) and turn the burner around the pin (10)
inside the specific hinge (figure 1).
•
After pulling out the ignition and ionisation cables (14) from
the terminals of the respective electrodes, unscrew completely
the nut (9) and tighten the screw (16), moving it forward inside
the gas delivery fitting (30) (figure 3), far enough to permit
subsequent dismantling of the mixing unit.
•
With suitable wrench, loosen the screw (8) in the direction
indicated by the arrow, unhooking the lever that moves the
combustion head forward.
