Transport and storage
• The heat gun in the manufacturer's packaging can
be transported by all types of covered transport at
temperatures from -50 to +50 °С and relative humidity
of 80% (at +20 °С) in accordance with the signs on
the packaging with the exception of the shocks and
movements inside the vehicle.
• The device should be stored in the manufacturer's
packaging in a heated, ventilated room at a
temperature of +5 °C to +40 °C and an average
monthly relative humidity of 65% (at a temperature
of +25 °C).
ATTENTION!
After transportation at the temperatures below the
working temperatures, it is necessary to withstand
the heat gun in the room where it is supposed to be
operated, without connecting it to the network for at
least 2 hours.
Care and maintenance
The Ballu heat gun is virtually maintenance-free. For
its reliable operation, only the following points must
be performed:
• The outer surfaces of the heat gun at the entry
and exit points of the air flow must be periodically
cleaned of dust and dirt.
• Check the serviceability of the power cable
contacts, the tightening of the terminal connectors
(once a year).
ATTENTION!
Switch off the appliance and unplug the power plug
before starting cleaning or maintenance.
Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting, follow the safety precautions
in this manual.
The heat gun does not turn on
• Possibly power outage. Check for voltage in the
mains.
• Broken power cable. Check the integrity of
the power cable, replace the defective cable if
necessary.
• Key switch defective. Check the operation of the
rocker switch, replace the faulty switch if necessary.
Airflow does not heat up
• The ambient temperature is higher than that set by
the thermostat. The heat gun works in ventilation
mode without heating.
• To turn on heating, turn the thermostat knob
clockwise.
• Open circuit of the electric heater power supply.
Eliminate the break.
• Key switch defective. Check the operation of the
rocker switch, replace the faulty switch if necessary.
• Defective thermostat. Check the function of the
thermostat, replace the faulty thermostat if necessary.
• Defective electric heater. Replace the electric heater.
ATTENTION!
Do not try to repair the device by yourself. Please
contact your dealer. For troubleshooting any
component replacement or cable/power circuit
breakage, please contact your dealer.
Completing units
The delivery set includes: heat gun, operation
manual and packaging.
Service life
The service life of the appliance is 7 years, provided
that the relevant rules for installation and operation
are observed.
Disposal
The time-expired appliance can’t be disposed
with household waste (2012/19/EU).
At the end of its service life, the appliance must be
disposed of in accordance with the norms, rules and
methods applicable at the place of disposal.
Do not dispose of the appliance with household
waste.
When the product has reached the end of its service
life, take it to a collection point for disposal if required
by the regulations in your area. This will help to avoid
the potential consequences for the environment and
human health, and will also facilitate the reuse of the
product components.
For information on where and how you can dispose
of the appliance, contact your local authority.
Date of manufacture
The date of manufacture is indicated on
a sticker on the body of the appliance,
and also encrypted in Code-128. The date
of manufacture is determined as follows:
а – month and year of production
Do not remove and keep safe the serial number on
the device’s body. If the serial number sticker is lost
or damaged, it will not be possible to restore the
production date if necessary.
Warranty
Warranty service is performed according to the
terms specified in the “Warranty” section.
Warranty:
• Warranty period for the item is two years from the
purchase date. If any defects occur due to defects
in materials and/or workmanship during this two-
year warranty period, the item should be repaired
or replaced.
• Free maintenance or replacement is possible only
in case if convincing evidence is provided, for
example a stub, which confirms that the day when
the service is requested, is within the warranty

period.
• The warranty does not cover products
and/or parts of the product that are subjects to
deterioration, may be considered as expendable
supplies or which are made of glass.
• The warranty is void if the defect is caused by
damage ensuing by misuse, poor maintenance
(for example, a failure occurred due to ingress of
foreign objects or liquids) or if changes or repairs
were performed by persons not authorized by the
Manufacturer.
• For the correct use of the product, the user
must strictly follow all included in the manual
instructions, and also must avoid any action or
manipulation described as unwanted or indicated
so in this manual.
• These warranty restrictions do
not affect your statutory rights.

The support during and after the warranty period is
available in all countries where the product is officially
distributed. Please contact your dealer for help.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the
design and characteristics of the device.
This manual may contain technical and typing errors.
