The body (4) of the fan heater is made of sheet steel
covered with a high-quality polymer coating. The
body is mounted on a support leg (5). A fan (7) and a
highly efficient sintered metal heating element (1) are
located inside the body.
The fan draws in air through the air intake grille (6) on
the rear side of the case, the air flow passing through
the heating element (1) heats up and is supplied to
the premises through the air outlet grill (2) in the front
wall of the case. The appliance control unit consists of a
rocker switch (9) and a thermostat (10), and is located
Specifications
on the rear wall of the case. The handle (3) is used to
carry the fan heater. The connection to the mains is
carried out using the power cable (8). The heat guns
BKX-3 and BKX-5 have a cable with a mains plug. The
heat gun BKX-7 connects directly to the electrical panel.
NOTE
The manufacturer may make minor design the
changes to the product that does not impair its
quality and reliability, which are not reflected in this
operating manual.
Technical data
The fan heater can operate in one of three modes:
• Mode “I” (ventilation with heating at partial power);
• Mode “II” (ventilation with heating at full capacity).
• Ventilation mode without heating.
The fan heater has built-in overheating protection.
When the body of the electric heater overheats,
an automatic thermal fuse turns off the fan heater,
eliminating the possibility of a fire and failure of the
product itself.
Overheating of the case can come from the following
reasons:
• The openings in the housing at the air inlet and
outlet are blocked by foreign objects or heavily
soiled;
• Uncorrected fan heater;
• The heat output of the fan heater is much higher
than the heat loss of the room in which it operates.
NOTE
If the thermal fuse is triggered and the fan heater
turns off due to overheating, it will automatically turn
on after a few minutes.
ATTENTION!
A frequent tripping of the thermal fuse is not normal
operation. In case of repeated operation of the
thermal fuse, it is necessary to disconnect the fan
heater from the mains, find out and eliminate the
reasons that caused it to be disconnected.

Appliance operation
When using the device, observe the safety requirements
outlined in this manual.
Before turning on the fan heater, the switch key must
be in position “0”, and the thermostat knob must be
turned to the extreme counterclockwise position.

2 – Mode “0” (off).

Turning on the fan heater and operating modes
To turn on the fan heater, it is necessary to connect the
mains plug to the mains socket (for BKX-3, BKX-5) or the
mains cable to the electrical panel (for BKX-7), set the
switch key to position “I” (mode “1”) or to position “II”
(mode “2”). If the ambient temperature is higher than
the one set by the thermostat, the fan heater works
in ventilation mode without heating. If the ambient
temperature is lower than that set by the thermostat,
the fan heater operates in the ventilation mode with
heating. The thermostat knob sets the required air
temperature in the room. The thermostat maintains
the set temperature by automatically turning off and
on the electric heater (the approximate range of the
maintained temperature is from 0 to +40 °C). To increase
the desired temperature, turn the thermostat knob
clockwise, to decrease - counterclockwise.
Comfort mode
To set the required heating temperature and maintain
a constant room air temperature, turn on the appliance
at full power by moving the thermostat control knob
to the “max” position. When the room temperature
reaches a comfortable level for you, slowly turn the
thermostat control knob counterclockwise until
you hear a click. Thus, the device will remember the
temperature that is comfortable for you and will
maintain it by automatically switching on and off.
NOTE
• To eliminate the unpleasant burning smell, it is
recommended to keep the heater clean and free
from dust accumulation.
• The BKX-7 heat gun does not have a mains plug,
as the rated current (22.7 A) is higher than the
maximum allowable for standard mains outlets (16
A).
Switching off the fan heater
To turn off the heat gun, set the switch to the “0”
position and unplug the power cord from the socket
(for BKX-3, BKX-5) or disconnect from the electrical
panel (for BKX-7).
