TROUBLESHOOTING
Before any troubleshooting, make sure to first complete the following:
•
Ensure that there is plenty of clean water in the water tank and the unit is on level ground.
•
Clean both the air and water filters by unscrewing the clear bowl and washing the filter
element with clean water.
•
Plug the unit directly into a dedicated 120V 15A power source. Do not use an extension
cords and make sure that no other devices are connected to the circuit.
•
Press the “TEST” button on the onboard accessory outlet, then press the “RESET” button. A
green light should illuminate on the outlet.
•
When turning the unit on, let the fan run for at least 10 seconds before turning the mist on.

Irregular or pulsing mist
from all nozzles.
Insufficient power.
Plug unit directly into outlet (no
extension cords).
Remove all electrical devices
sharing the same circuit.
Try a different power outlet.
Mist and fan turned on at the
same time.
Turn the unit off. Turn the fan on
and wait 10 seconds. Turn the
mist on.
Air filter is clogged.
Clean the air filter.
Irregular or no mist from
a single nozzle.
Nozzle is clogged.
Remove the nozzle from the
fan. Soak the nozzle in white
vinegar or a diluted solution of
CLR. Reinstall the nozzle.
Water leak.
While the unit is running, check
for a water leak around the
nozzle assembly. Secure any
loose connections.
While the unit is running, check
for a water leak from the inside
of the front face panel. If a leak
is found, unplug the unit,
remove the front face plate, and
secure any loose connections.
WARNING:
Make sure the electrical disconnect is OFF before working on
the machine.
