eSATA hardware hot plugging/unplugging and external hard
drives with the Native Command Queuing (NCQ) feature.

Perfect for connecting your laptop to your LaCie d2 Quadra and
all other eSATA hard disk drives, this card is also compatible with
port multiplier devices like the LaCie 2big Quadra and with non-
LaCie eSATA devices. In addition, it’s backward compliant with
SATA I (at SATA I performance).
