CONTROLS
7.1
Ignition Switch—Bad Boy mowers have a three position ignition switch: off, run, and start.
With key inserted, rotate it clockwise to START position and release key when engine starts.
Switch will automatically return to he RUN position.
7.2
Throttle Control—A cable is connected to the engine throttle for controlling engine speed.
Move lever forward to increase engine rpm, move lever backward to decrease engine rpm.
7.3
Choke Control—A cable is linked to manually operate the engine choke. When the lever is
in the down position, the choke is in the off (run) position. When the lever is pulled up, the
choke is in the on (start) position. Do not operate the machine in the on (start) position.
7.4
Blade Engage Switch—This switch engages the blades. Pull the switch up to engage; push
the switch down to disengage.
7.5
Parking Brake—This lever engages the parking brake. Pull back fully to engage the parking
brake; push forward to disengage.
7.6
Control Arms (not pictured)—These levers control the mower’s speed and direction (left-
right and forward-reverse). Pushing the arms to their outward-most position places the
mower in neutral.
