Read roofing instructions beginning at Page 116 for roofing felt, drip edge, and shingle installation.
Follow insructions below for dormer roofing felt and flashing installation.
Install roofing felt around dormer prior to flashing.
- Do not exceed height of 2-1/4" (5,7 cm).
Overlap felt layers by 3". Wrap corners with felt before installing larger pieces.
Secure felt with 1" roofing nails as shown.
Trim felt around OSB window openings.
Flash the front of dormer using (4) 4" x 32" flash cards. Overlap ends of flashing 2". Extend flashing 3" past
corner of dormer. Trim flashing corner ends as shown
(Fig. A)
. Bend tab around corner and secure flashing with
1" roofing nails. At one end flashing will have excess metal trimmed off length.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Do not install roofing felt up dormer
panel beyond 2-1/4" (5,7 cm).
