4. Power up the analyzer as follows:
a. Turn on the analyzer by either plugging it in, or by setting its
battery pack switch to ON.
b. Press CAL key to start the 60 second calibration cycle.
c. When the word FUEL appears on left display, press FUEL key to
select any one of the seven fuels.
d. Press RUN key to start analyzer.
5. Press the left SELECT key until TEMP indicator is lit.
6. The left display is now showing ambient room temperature as mea-
sured by the analyzer’s ambient transducer. Compare this reading to
the temperature on a thermometer measuring room temperature.
7. Using a potentiometer adjustment tool, adjust Ambient Temperature
Adjust pot R24 (Fig. 4-6) until the analyzer’s temperature readout
matches the thermometer’s room temperature indication.
8. Press RUN key to stop analyzer; then insert thermocouple plug back
into control panel.
9. If no other calibration adjustments are to be made, replace the control
panel and printer (if applicable).
