Both speed and suction have a range of 1-10, with 1 being the lowest amount and 10 being the
highest.
•
The pump initially starts in stimulation phase, which simulates your baby’s sucking motion
before milk starts to let down. This is typically a faster, less intense rhythm than after letdown
when milk starts to flow. During stimulation, the speed can be adjusted between 60 and 120
cycles per minute and the suction can be adjusted between 50 and 200 mm Hg. During
expression, the speed can be adjusted between 30 and 90 cycles per minute and the suction can
be adjusted between 60 and 250 mm Hg.
•
The speed and suction levels will remain constant when either single pumping (one breast at a
time) or double pumping (both breasts simultaneously).

Within the Babyation app, you can select from customized pre-sets for suction and speed
settings. You can also modify those pre-sets and save your own versions for a fully customizable
pumping experience.
