tubing. Additionally, replace the filter if you notice that milk is not flowing properly down the milk
collection tube, as this may be due to a partially clogged filter.
The filter is threaded into the top of the pump enclosure. To replace the filter, simply turn it
counterclockwise until it lifts out of the well that it is installed in.
To install the new filter, place the replacement in the well and turn clockwise until tight. The filter will
only spin about half a turn—a properly installed filter will result in the top of the filter being even with
the height of the adjacent peg. Do not over tighten the filter, as this will make it difficult to remove in
the future.
Note that due to the curvature of the enclosure, the filter may appear to be inserted deeper on the left
side than the right side—this is normal and expected.
Never attempt to operate the pump without the filter in place—milk will not properly flow to the
container.

Strap placement
The strap has two holes on it. To attach the strap to the enclosure, line up the holes on the strap to the
pegs on the side of the enclosure. Wiggle the strap around until the peg goes through the hole. Voila!
