7. Lift back flap and place harness to side 

(Fig. 40a).

8. Unlock and lower Forward Facing Lock-off 

(Fig. 40b).

9. Route LATCH belt through the front facing 

safety belt path (Fig. 40c) leaving the adjuster 
side of the LATCH belt on the child’s RIGHT 
side (Fig. 40d).  

NOTE: Remove any twist in webbing to 
ensure the webbing lies flat for securing  
the restraint to the vehicle.

2. Rotate both Rear Facing Lock Off toward the 

center of the restraint.

3. Lift both arms away from lock offs.

4. Unthread LATCH belt out of the rear facing 

safety belt path.

5. Press both arms into place and hold.

6. Rotate both Rear Facing Lock Off to the 

locked position. Ensure the Rear Facing Lock 
Off snap into position.
