After placing your baby in the Baby K’tan Baby Carrier, make sure that your baby
is positioned correctly by following these basic safety tips:
WARNING

Positional Asphyxia (suffocation) can occur in young infants. This can happen if baby's chin is pressed
tight against his/her chest, restricting airflow. Check on your baby often to ensure that baby’s airway is not
obstructed and that baby is breathing regularly.
If baby does not yet have head
control, use one of the loops to
support his/her head.
Baby has a clear
source of air
For positions that require
the sash: Sash is securely
tied around baby.
For Hug (p.8), Two-Hip (p.8) & Adventure
Positions (p.9): Fabric is spread wide,
reaching bend in baby’s knees, to create
a comfortable & secure seat.
