2. Press the ISOFIX adjuster button
(M)
to unlock the Isofix arms
(N)
and pull them outward (fig. 5.2). Move each locking arm to check
that it is completely deployed.
3. Take the Top Tether
(P)
and pass it over the seat.
4. Place the child safety seat in the back seat of the vehicle facing in
the direction of travel.
5. Hold the safety seat with both hands and insert the two locking
arms
(N)
into the vehicle´s Isofix connectors until they fasten with
a click on both sides. The red button will change to green on both
sides (fig. 5.3).
6. Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle’s
ISOFIX
points.
7. Push the safety seat towards the back using a firm, constant
pressure on both sides until it rests firmly against the vehicle seat
(fig. 5.4). If necessary, adjust the reclining of the vehicle´s seat
backrest to ensure that the child seat rests correctly.
8. Take the Top Tether and press the Top Tether
(P)
adjuster to stretch
the strap.
9. Hook the safety clasp
to the Top Tether anchor point recommended
in your vehicle instruction manual (fig. 5.5)
10. To tighten the Top Tether, take up any slack by pulling the free end of
the belt through the Top Tether adjuster (fig. 5.6). The Top Tether will
be correctly tightened when tension indicator turns from red to green
(fig. 5.7).
Uninstalling the ISOFIX arms
To release the ISOFIX arms, pull the button on the anchors
(M)
to
unlock them until the indicator turns from green to red color. This
will release the child seat (fig. 5.8).
IMPORTANT! The locking arms are only correctly fixed if both safety
buttons are green.
IMPORTANT! Make sure not to use the luggage clip instead
of the Top Tether anchor clip. Look for this symbol in your
vehicle.
