Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Ayra OSO W-D. This practical kit, consisting of two wireless DMX 'pens' and 2
matching power adapters, is used to transmit DMX signals from a lighting controller or interface to your DMX
enabled lighting fixtures. One of the devices is the transmitting device, the other one is the receiver. This
user manual provides you with all the information you need to get the best out of the features this device has
to offer.

Read this user manual before you set up the device and familiarise yourself with the product and its
accessories. Also check the box contents to make sure the device has not been damaged and all
accessories are included as they should.

If you encounter any problems during unpacking, installation or use, contact your local dealer for more
information and help.

The OSO W-D kit can be extended with the use of one of the OSO DIS-H wireless DMX splitters. This way,
upon arrival of the wireless signals, the signal can be splitted in several isolated outputs. This gives users the
flexibility of making multiple DMX groups, without having to pull cables from and to every fixture.

The OSO W-D makes use of special technology to ensure that the wireless transmitted signal is as strong
and stable as possible. However, the reliability of the system depends on the surrounding environment,
something which can not always be controlled. It is therefore recommended to use cables to connect your
DMX devices where possible and practical, as technically this is always a more stable and reliable solution.
For situations where the use of cables is impossible, dangerous or difficult, the OSO W-D is an useful
problem-solver.

Please note before use:

The OSO W-D works on the 2.4 GHz frequency. This is a global free to use frequency, also used by
equipment such as wireless microphones, Bluetooth speakers, smartphones, tablet computers, microwaves,
WiFi-routers and so on. When used for applications such as large festivals, the OSO W-D will be surrounded
with a lot of devices who make use of the same frequencies.

Thankfully, the OSO W-D is equipped with modern electronics, preventing interference as much as possible.
As the surroundings with every use of this product vary, 100% stable operation of this product can not be
guaranteed in all circumstances.
