Setting up the unit

To activate the unit, connect the power cable with a suitable power outlet. The unit will activate directly after it
is plugged in to a wall outlet or other power source.

The status of the fixture is shown on the display. Certain values determine the current status and will change
when you push buttons on the control panel. The buttons each have their own function, for easy navigation in
the control panel.

speed between 1 and 9, which
changes the motor rotation speed.

S1 / S2

Sound-actived mode

Select sound-actived mode 1
or 2.
Then select motor speed 0-
20, with 0 being very slow and
20 very fast.

Sound-actived mode 1: motor and
colour respond to the beat.
Sound-actived mode 2: motor
responds to the beat.

Operating modes:

DMX mode:

The most extensive operating mode, as it allows you to control the system with a standard

DMX-512 controller, using the 3p DMX inputs and outputs. Select the right starting address, and you'll have
full control over the system with your DMX controller.

Auto mode:

Select one of the internal programs, which will activate and run in a continuous loop. Users can

set the desired speed; a low value means low speed and fluent movement, while a high value induces high
speed.

Master/slave mode (sync mode):

Connect two or more TDC Sunrise devices with a standard 3p male to 3p

female XLR cable. (Not included in delivery.) The first system will act as a master fixture, the second system
will mimic the actions of the first system, thus creating synchronised effects.

To ensure that this function works properly, connect the DMX OUT connector of the first system to the DMX
IN connector of the second system. Set the second system to Slave mode. Connecting more than a single
slave is possible, with a maximum of 16 units.

Music-controlled mode (sound-activated):

Select one of the available music-controlled modes with the

display and menu buttons. In sound-activated mode, the device will respond to the beat of the  music thanks
to a built-in microphone.
