Monitoring Printers
To simplify printer monitoring, you can create logical groups of
printers. The printer status of each printer is displayed in the
AXIS NetPilot window.

Creating a
printer group
Follow the instructions below to create a printer group:
1. Select the ‘Monitoring Printers’ folder.
2. Click on the
New Group button
on the toolbar or select
New
Printer Group
from the
File
menu.
3. Type a printer group name in the text field and click
OK
.
You can create as many printer groups as you want.
Adding a printer
to a printer group
Follow the instructions below to add a printer to a printer group:
1. Select the printer group folder, located in the ‘Monitoring
Printers’ folder.
2. Click on the
Add Printer button
on the toolbar or select
Add
Printer
from the
File
menu.
