Changing the
parameter values
AXIS NetPilot provides you with two useful tools for changing
parameter values:

Property pages:
Use the Property pages if you have lim-
ited experience in editing
config
files. A
user-friendly interface helps you to set
the AXIS 1610 parameters.
•
Parameter List Editor: Use this fast and efficient tool if you
have considerable experience in editing
config
files.
The Property Pages
The Property pages provide an easy way to view and change the
parameters. Each property page comprises a set of selection tabs
that are appropriate to your operating environments. Each
parameter can be edited by selecting the relevant box.
Follow the instructions below to open and edit an arbitrary
Property Page:
1. Select the AXIS 1610 from the ‘Network Print Servers’ folder.
2. Click the
Properties
button on the AXIS NetPilot toolbar or
choose
Properties
from the
Setup
menu.
3. Select the tab that includes the parameter you want to change.
4. Change the value.
5. Click
Apply
to save the change to the print server. (If you select
OK
instead, the Property page closes automatically after the
change has been saved).
