MAINTENANCE
6476B BROADBAND BOOSTER
SYMPTOM
CAUSE
REMEDY
Unit will not go into “operate”
mode.
1.
Fault in control interface.
2.
Loss of thermal interlock.
1.
Check connector (J5) on back of tray
(if used).
2.
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Fan not operating.
1.
Loss of AC Power.
Obstruction present in fan.
1.
Verify AC power source.
2.
Remove any fan obstructions.
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Bias Protection Board green
LED’s not lit. (DS1-DS7)
1.
Blown fuses (F1-F7).
2.
Amplifier Device failure.
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Power Supply Board green
LED’s not lit. (DS1-DS7)
Correct voltages are not
present
Call Axcera Customer Service.
5766 AMPLIFIER
Module Enable LED not lit
1.
Unit is in standby mode.
2.
Booster has overheated.
3.
Loss of –5VDC bias
Normal condition. Place unit into
operate.
1.
Check fan operation
2.
Check air conditioning system.
3.
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Module DC OK LED not lit.
4.
Unit is not enabled.
5.
DC to DC converter
failure.
Normal condition. Place unit into
operate.
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Module Bias LED not lit.
Loss of –5VDC bias
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Module MOD OK LED is not lit.
1.
Unit is not enabled.
2.
Booster has overheated.
3.
Loss of –5VDC bias
4.
Blown fuses (F1-F8).
5.
Amplifier device failure.
1.
Check that unit is enabled.
2.
Check fan operation.
3.
Check air conditioning system.
4.
Call Axcera Customer Service.
Module RF O/P LED not lit.
RF not detected at module
output.
5.
Check that the unit is enabled.
6.
Check that there is driver power.
Bias Protection Board green

Not lit. (DS1-DS7)
