RESIDUAL RISK
Despite device manufacturer's responsibility for its construction that ought to eliminate the
danger, some elements of risk at work are inevitable. The residual risk stems from erroneous
behavior of the operator.
The greatest danger occurs while executing the following prohibited activities:

use of the device by children,

use of the device for other purposes than those described in the Operating Instruction,

use of the device when other people, especially children, or pets are nearby,

use of the device by a person not familiar with the Operating Instruction,

use of the device without proper protective clothing and footwear,

use of the device with damaged guards or without housing and properly installed safety
devices.
RESIDUAL RISK ASSESSMENT
While complying with the instructions given in the Operating Instruction the residual threat
when using the chainsaw can be eliminated. There is a risk if one does not abide by the afore
mentioned recommendations.
