Carry the chainsaw with the engine stopped, guide bar and saw chain to the rear, and the
muffler away from your body.

Do not use the machine in bad weather, such as dense fog, heavy rain, strong wind, intense
cold, etc.

Do not overload the machine.

While operating the chainsaw, always wear following protective clothing and protective
devices. i.e. helmet with face shield, gloves, goggles safety boots, and ear plugs:
wear the helmet to protect your head from the overhead branches and the falling foreign
material, and a face shield to protect your face from wood chips, small pieces of wood
thrown by the operating chainsaw while felling, cutting and limbing,
wear the gloves to protect your hands and improve your grip on the handles,
wear ear plugs to protect your ears from the noise,
wear the safety boots with the non-slip sole and toe protector,
wear adequate clothes in bright colors and chainsaw cut-resistant,
do not wear the clothes with tapes, laces, do not wear jewelry during operation.
never operate the chainsaw when fatigued or under medication, or has swallowed
substances known to affect judgment or reactions.

In order to maintain your product in proper working order, perform the maintenance and
checking operations described in the manual at regular intervals. Manual maintenance
operations - e.g. lubrication, replacing parts, should be performed by competent chainsaw
service personnel.

When the work is done or when transporting the chainsaw, make sure the engine switch is in
OFF position.
CORRECT USE OF A CHAINSAW
1.
A chain saw is a dangerous tool if used carelessly or incorrectly and can cause serious, even
fatal injuries. It is very important that you read and understand the contents of this operator’s
manual.
2.
Thoroughly inspect the area where the product is to be used and clear the area where you are
working.
3.
When the chainsaw is not used, switch the engine off. Never allow people unfamiliar with
this owner's manual to use the chainsaw.
4.
Always shut off the engine and allow it to cool before refueling. Do not smoke or bring any
fire or flame near the fuel or the chainsaw.
5.
Use proper ground starting procedure.
6.
Take extreme care in wet and freezing weather (rain, snow, ice). Put off the work when the
weather is windy, stormy or rainfall is heavy. It is prohibited to expose the chainsaw to
precipitation and using in high humidity atmosphere.
7.
Keep helpers and bystanders away from the area where you are cutting.
8.
Before felling a tree, make sure:
that no-one else but people employed in felling the trees are in this “risk zone” before or
during felling,
to clear the tree base and work area,
to establish two paths of escape and remove all obstacles.
