Ensure that the crane is properly maintained and lubricated at all times and that no rust or
other forms of corrosion is allowed to weaken any part of the crane.

If the crane has been subjected to an abnormal load or shock it should be removed from
service immediately and fully inspected by qualified personnel.

Maintain labels and nameplates on the Engine Crane. These carry important information.

The warnings, precautions and instructions discussed in this manual cannot cover all
possible conditions and situations that may occur. The operator must understand that
common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be
supplied by the operator.
UNPACKING
When unpacking check to make sure all the parts listed are included. If any parts are missing or
broken, please call AW-Tools at the number on the back cover of this manual.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION
Unpack the components on a clean flat area of hard standing and ensure that all parts are
present according to the packing list. Visually inspect all components to ensure that no damage was
suffered in transit. Any damage should be reported to your AW-Tools dealer immediately.
To prevent serious injury and death make sure the correct bolts are used during
assembly. Make sure that the correct bolts are used in the correct place.
For safety and ease of assembly, use two people to assemble Engine Crane.
DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY BOLTS UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY FINISHED WITH
ASSEMBLY. OTHERWISE PARTS WILL NOT LINE UP PROPERLY!
Step 1
Attach two middle casters (32) using bolts (36) and two rear
casters (31) with bolts (33), washers (35) and nuts (34) to
base (1).
Step 2
Use bolts (33), washers (35) and nuts (34) to attach front
casters (31) to the legs, then slide legs (6) into front of the
base (1).
Step 3
Lock legs (6) in place using the Ring Pins (12). To insert the
ring pins, lift up on front of base (1) until holes line up. After
all four ring pins are inserted, insert one R-Pin (13) through
small hole at the end of each ring pin until it snaps into place.
Note:
Make sure ring pins are secure before proceeding.
