7. At this point, nothing should appear on the oscilloscope.
8. To enable the output:
a) Press the MOVE button until the arrow pointer is pointing at the output menu
item.
b) Press the CHANGE button. The output submenu will appear.
c) Press MOVE until the arrow pointer is pointing at the “ON” choice.
d) Press CHANGE to return to the main menu.
9. To change the output amplitude:
a) Press the MOVE button until the arrow pointer is pointing at the amplitude
menu item.
b) Press the CHANGE button. The amplitude submenu will appear. Rotate the
ADJUST knob until the amplitude is set at +200V (or -200V for "-N"
instruments). .
c) Observe the oscilloscope. You should see 5 us wide, 200V pulses.
d) Rotate the ADJUST knob. The amplitude as seen on the oscilloscope should
vary.
e) Press CHANGE to return to the main menu.

Repeat step 9, but set the amplitude to zero.

This completes the operational check.
