– Sets the VAGC High Target for this device. When the input signal exceeds the

VAGC Threshold, the VAGC alters the receive audio so that it remains between the VAGC Low Target and
VAGC High Target.

l

VAGC Max Loss (dB)

– The highest amount of dB loss, in decibels, that can be adjusted to this device using

VAGC.

l

VAGC Max Gain (dB)

– The highest amount of dB gain, in decibels, that can be adjusted to this device using

VAGC.

l

VAGC Threshold (dB)

– The level, in decibels, at which the Software Media Workstation outputs audio to this

external audio interface.

IMPORTANT

Use caution when setting these fields. Avtec recommends first adjusting the

Windows Input Level (%)

and

Mic Gain (dB)

fields before attempting to adjust any VAGC setting.

Mic Gain (dB)

adjustments should only

be made in small increments.
