• The ray parallel to the ground is referred to the top mirror and cannot be
adjusted
• The lower ray shown in the picture, is referred to three possible adjustings
of the lower mirror.
• The numbering 1, 2 and 3 of the three detection types are referred to the
possible combinations of the position of the lower mirror of infrared
section and to the range adjusting of the microwave section (Trimmer
RV1)
• In order to adjust the range of the microwave section, use the trimmer
RV1. Range increases by turning the trimmer clockwise

Detection
To obtain the best adjusting of the range,
install SPIER DUAL perpendiculary to the
ground, at the height of about 1 - 1,2 m.
SPIDER DUAL is
made of three
detection zones
(two infrared and
one microwave)
Infrared: the top
zone detects
parallelaly to the
ground and cannot
be oriented. The lower
zone can be oriented by
use of the range-adjuster placed on one side of
the lower mirror.
Microwave: the coverage zone can be varied by
acting on trimmer RV1.
NOTA: to obtain the best range, it is necessary to adjust both the
mirror of lower IR and the microwave
