EXTENSION operating mode
This mode of operation allows the siren to be controlled by AVS control panel not developed for the control of the Serial siren
directly on RS485.
To use them, it is sufficient to enable an extension and make the following settings:
Additional relay n ° x, simulates the input + SA at the buzzer
Open Collector No. 1 satellite, simulates the input LED on the siren
Open Collector No. 2 satellite, simulates the input STC on the siren
The signals from the siren to the control panel, will be reported only if you will program the zone inputs as used and will have the
following mapping:
•
Extension
Zona 1
of the satellite: sum tamper (tamper reflects physical output)

NOTE
: the conditions of “TAMPER” “low battery” and “battery missing” may be sent to the control panel in compatible mode with
traditional satellites, allowing you to avoid configuring virtual zones (Operating mode:1).
In this case, in the keyboard, the event memory etc., the control panel will show messages relating to an extension.
If this is not wanted, simply set the “operating mode” 2 and program zones to have alerts.
