B. Propeller Governor LUN7816.(-)
(1) Maximum RPM adjustment
To be performed: after control flight
Perform maximum RPM adjustment according to procedure in section 12.8.
CAUTION: Maximum propeller RPM must not exceed 2080 rpm !
(2) Idle RPM adjustment
(twin-engine aircrafts)
a) Perform this adjustment only if difference in idle RPM between propellers is higher than 40 rpm.
b) Check basic adjustment for both governors according to process in section 12.6.
c) If the values don’t correspond to that recorded in the governor documentation, adjust it (them).
d) If the basic adjustment for both governors is correct, adjust engine idle according to the engine
operational manual to decrease the difference under 40 rpm.
e) Verify idle speed at engine ground test according to aircraft flight manual at oil temperature 60 +5
°
C
(140 to 149°F).
