CAUTION - BE SURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
1) The coil must only be supplied with 24 V DC ±10 % and a max. ripple of 10 % (no supply via
diode bridge). Overvoltage or a ripple rate exceeding 10 % can damage the electronics.
2) The max. current at pin 7 is 500 mA (NPN/PNP output). Pin 7 is protected against short circuit
and overload.
3) If a relay (inductive load) is connected to the pressure switch output, a freewheel diode or
a varistor must be used.
4) Do not solder
unused
pins on the connector.
5) In case of an interruption in the pressure supply, shut off the power supply (+24V) or switch
the set point to zero to avoid excessive heating of the coil.
6) Grounding for personal protection must be done at the PE terminal (ØM4) on the body (see
diagramme opposite).
7) The valve housing must be connected to the ground potential with low resistance via the
ground connection (ØM4). The eyelet of the grounding cable must be inserted between two
toothed washers and fastened with a screw (M4). The tightening torque corresponding to
the screw must be observed.
