preview screen and input the distance of the two points to finish the
calibration. The scale on the bottom left corner will be changed
accordingly.
The three circles rights next to the three buttons of the Measure
Function dialogue box are used to select the color of the
measurement tools during calibration. You can choose a different
color according to the image background by clicking the circles.
The calibration with a certain objective can only be used for the
measurement with the same objective. When a different objective is
used, a new calibration must be done for measurement.
Line
When the calibration is done, you can measure the distance between
two points on the preview screen by clicking
Line
button. Use mouse
click to select two points on the screen, and the real distance will be
shown in the dialogue automatically.
Circle
You can also measure the circumference and radius of a circle on the
screen if the measurement is properly calibrated. Use mouse click to
select three points on the screen, and the dialogue will show the
circumference and radius of the circle defined by these three points.
The lines and circles drawn on the screen for measurement will not
be recorded in the image.
