Blocking your extension from displaying during calls

About this task

You can override the system (default) setting to display your extension on outgoing calls. Use the

Calling Party Number Blocking feature to prevent your number from displaying.

Before you begin

Ensure that administrator enables the feature target selection.

Procedure

1. From the Phone screen, access the Features screen.

2. Select
CPN Block
.

You can see the
Select a destination
dialogue box.

3. Enter the number using one of the following methods:

• Press the
Dial
soft key to use the dialpad and manually enter the number.

• Press
Contacts
,
Recents
or
Phone
button to select the number from the list.

• Press the
Browser
soft key to select the destination number from the browser

application.

• Press the
Autodial
,
Busy indicator
or
Team
line key to select the number as

destination target.

The feature is activated.

(Optional)
To cancel the feature, press the
Cancel
soft key.

Enter
or
OK
to start calling party number blocking in case of manual dialling.
