Designed purpose of use

The AVANT Snow plow is an attachment suitable for use with AVANT multi purpose loaders shown in Table 1.
The  plow  is  a  versatile  articulated  plow  intended  for  clearing  and  pushing  snow  on  street  areas.  It  has  two
hydraulically movable blades. The position of the blades can be adjusted directly from the driver’s seat with
the auxiliary hydraulics of the loader. This makes it possible to use plow in various configurations, such as a
turnable straight dozer blade, collecting v-blade, or as a point plow.

A valve is installed on the plow to make it possible to control the blades in two different modes. The valve can
be controlled either with the optional attachment control switch pack of the loader or with a separate cable kit
that is supplied with the plow.

The floating mounting bracket allows vertical movement of the plow as well as limited horizontal tilting for the
best possible ground surface following. The lower blade sections are hinged and held in place by springs. This
allows them to tilt backwards to prevent a sudden stop of the loader if the  blade hits an obstacle, protecting
both  the  driver  and  the  blades.  Standard,  adjustable  skids  help  the  plow  to  move  smoothly  also  on  rough
surfaces.

The  blade  edges  are  made  from  superior  quality  wear  resistant  steel.  They  can  be  replaced  if  needed.  A
rubber blade kit and an ice scraper kit are available as option.

Operating  any  control  of  the  plow  or  the  loader  is  permitted  only  for  persons  who  are  familiar  with  specific
safety  instructions  and  are  capable  to  operate  the  equipment  safely.  Operating  any  control  is  allowed  only
while seated on the driver

’s seat. Ít is prohibited to use the plow in other way or for other purposes than shown

in this manual.
