Wireless Keying Quick Start Guide
1. Install Subscribers and write the Dispenser # on the USB Key.
2. Install Access Point following the Best Practices Guide on reverse side.
3. Power on all Radios.
4. Insert the Subscriber Unit’s USB Key into the Access Point.
5. Remove the USB Key after hearing a short song.
6. Repeat these steps for each Subscriber’s USB Key.
7. Register the Access Point online.
8. Watch the installation video at the AvaLAN YouTube Page.
Monitor, Control, and Alert
The Access Point should be registered online at wireless.AvaLAN.com to
check wireless communications anywhere accessible with internet access.
To register the Access Point, use the serial number shown on the front of
the enclosure.
A minute after registering the Access Point, the status of the site will be
automatically updated. The dispensers that are wirelessly connected to the
access point will display their USB Key ID and signal strength. The USB Key
ID is printed on the USB Stick that came with each radio. Users should input
the dispenser number in the Description Field next to the corresponding USB
Key ID that’s displayed.

To receive email and text alerts regarding Internet outage or connection loss,
please subscribe to the AvaLAN Outage Alert Plan. The plan costs $4.99/month and can be
added or cancelled at any time.
